Sealed bids will be received by the City of Oxford, hereinafter called the Owner, at the office of the Service Director, 101 East High Street, Oxford, Ohio 45056, until 10:30 a.m. local time, on Friday, September 3, 2010 and publicly opened and read aloud for the following:
2010 CDBG Sidewalk and Handicap Ramp Improvements
Copies of the specifications and contract documents may be obtained at the office of the Service Director.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bid; to waive any informalities in the bidding; and to enter into a contract with the bidder who, in their consideration, offered the lowest and best bid. The City also reserves the right to hold all bids for 60 days. Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. The City will also require the payment of prevailing wage rates on all projects meeting the Federal Labor Standards and Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements.
